The City of Nevada City has a Sanitary Sewer Management Plan (SSMP) in compliance with State guidelines.

The goal of the SSMP is to properly manage, operate, and maintain all parts of the sanitary sewer system to reduce and prevent Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSO) and provide guidance to mitigate any SSO that may occur.
