Tech Center- DA Amendment & Tentative Map

Tentative Map Proposal:  Property owner, Christopher Anderson is requesting to subdivide his 62.2 acre into four parcels that range in size between three and 37 acres.  Each resulting parcel will have direct access from the existing Providence Mine Road, a privately-maintained roadway.  The applicant has a concurrent application to amend the current Development Agreement in order to provide for cannabis businesses and office and professional uses as allowed uses. The applicant has also filed a Cannabis Manufacturing and Processing  Business Application, which is on hold until/unless the DA Amendment is finalized.

Development Agreement Amendment Proposal: The Nevada City Tech Center is owned by several property owners, listed below. The Tech Center encompasses an area of approximately 100 acres and is regulated under an existing Development Agreement that was renewed for a 15 year term in 2015. The owner’s group is requesting to amend the existing Development Agreement in order to provide for cannabis businesses and office and professional uses as allowed uses, subject to administrative procedures as set forth in the Municipal Code. Owner, Christopher Anderson also has a Cannabis Manufacturing and Processing Cannabis Business Application, which is on hold until/unless the DA Amendment is finalized.
