Nevada City Hot Summer Nights
NCPD participating in the parade and celebrating 4th of July. Awesome weather, wonderful people, and incredible support.
On our mission today, officers extracted Special Agent Zuma (and his dad) for an important task… attending the second to last day of first grade. All agents and officers deployed from the staging area en route to Special Agent Zuma’s training headquarters.
Upon arrival at the location, all the prospective agents, and agent instructors, came out to welcome Special Agent Zuma back to his educational training at Dear Creek Elementary School. All agents engaged in training to learn how a police vehicle functions.
A special thank you to Zuma and thank you to Deer Creek Elementary School staff and PTC for organizing this special event.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. We are happy to partner with the Community Support Network of Nevada County to stand united for the most vulnerable children and youth. Keep an eye out for our patrol vehicles sporting their new decals to bring awareness to the children and youth in Nevada County who have endured abuse and neglect.
