Council Meetings
City Council meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, starting at 6:30 PM. Meetings are held at City Hall 317 Broad Street, Nevada City, CA 95959. As allowed under state law and City Council resolution, some meeting components may be conducted remotely as identified on individual agendas.

City Council agendas are posted outside City Hall, 72 hours before regularly scheduled meetings. Agendas will also be posted on the Agendas page along with the video from each meeting.
Public Comment:
- Public comment may be provided in person for all meetings conducted in person.
- Where identified on the agenda comments may be allowed remotely via Zoom by clicking the link in the posted agenda.
- Public comment may be submitted via email to [email protected] All emails received by 7pm the Monday prior to the meeting will be forwarded to the entire City Council by Tuesday afternoon but will NOT be read into the record.
Communicating with Council Members - Not Public Comment for Meetings
To communicate with a City Council member, you can leave letters and messages for them at City Hall. Council members do not have offices in City Hall, but they do check their boxes regularly. Additional contact information is shown below.
