How to view City Council meetings and provide public comment on items on an agenda.
How to view City Council Meetings
City Council meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, starting at 6:30 PM.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, Council meetings are held online.  The public can view the meetings on the following links:

1. The City's YouTube Channel:  Nevada City Public Meetings.
2. Public Television Channel 17
3. On the City's website, Live/Archived Meetings
4. On Granicus
Agendas for City Council Meetings
City Council agendas are posted outside City Hall, 72 hours before the scheduled meeting. Agendas will also be posted on the 
Agendas page along with the video after each meeting.

How to Provide Public Comment at a City Council Meeting
During the COVID-19 pandemic to comment on any item on an agenda, comments must be submitted in advance.   There are two options for providing public comment:
1. Click on " Public Comment"; here or on the home page to submit your comments.   
2. Submit an email to [email protected]  If submitting an email you must put the Item Letter and Number in the Subject line.  If your names and address are provided, they will be read into the public record.
