Nevada County Active Transportation Plan

Share your opinion about how walking and bicycling could be made easier and better in Nevada County. Your suggestions and comments will be used to help develop the Nevada County Active Transportation Plan.
 
As part of the regional transportation planning process, the Nevada County Transportation Commission (NCTC) in coordination with the County of Nevada, City of Grass Valley, City of Nevada City, and Town of Truckee has contracted with the consulting firm Fehr & Peers to prepare an Active Transportation Plan (ATP) covering Nevada County and the jurisdictions within.  The Plan will evaluate pedestrian and bicycle needs, identify and prioritize active transportation recommendations by jurisdiction.

Click on the following link www.http://arcg.is/1Sj5zH to view an interactive map that allows you zoom in and leave comments on needed bicycle or pedestrian infrastructure and vote on suggestions and comments that have been provided by others.  Use the maps to tell us where you have problems walking or biking, where you would like to see new facilities such as sidewalks, bike lanes, bike parking, and other suggestions you have for improving walking and biking in Nevada County.  Your suggestions and comments will be used to help develop the Nevada County Active Transportation Plan, an updated vision and roadmap for the future of walking and biking in Nevada County, Grass Valley, Truckee, and Nevada City.
