A 2nd Public Workshop to discuss Pedestrian Friendly Square

Posted on Monday July 09, 2018

As a follow-up to the discussion regarding Pedestrian Friendly Square held at a Saturday workshop on June 2nd, we are scheduling another public workshop during morning business hours so that more members of the public and merchants are provided an opportunity to participate.

Join The City of Nevada City and the Future of Nevada County (FONC) for a public workshop at City Hall on Tuesday July 24th from 9-12pm for “Pedestrian Friendly Square”. This workshop will be facilitated by FONC and we will break into small groups for discourse.

This is an opportunity for the community to provide feedback for an upcoming public works beautification project set to begin soon in downtown Nevada City.

A facilitation method will be used to ensure that each individual has the opportunity to share their opinions in small groups so that as a whole we can gather input for the city to consider as they move forward with the project.
