Garbage and Recycling Pick-Up
Waste Management of Nevada County has a contract with the City to collect the garbage and recycling/yard waste for our residents and businesses. If you have questions about your garbage or recycling services call Waste Management of Nevada County (274-3090).

Waste Management pick-up days for City residents are:
- Garbage pick-up is every Tuesday
- Recycling and yard waste pick-up on alternate Tuesdays (recycling will be picked up one week and yard waste the following week).

Water and Sewer
The City operates a water treatment facility which processes all drinking water for homes and businesses within City limits. The City also operates a waste-water treatment facility. For more information (including frequently asked questions about these services) go to our Public Works webpage.
