City Council

City Council meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, starting at 6:30 PM, in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 317 Broad Street in Nevada City. 

City Council agendas are posted outside City Hall, 72 hours before the scheduled meeting. Agendas and Minutes will also be posted on our website calendar. 

To have an item placed on a City Council agenda, you will need to complete a Request for Placement of Item on City Council Agenda form. This form must be submitted to City Hall by 5:00 PM on the Monday of the week before the meeting.

To communicate with a City Council member, you can leave letters and messages for them at City Hall. Council members do not have offices in City Hall, but they do check their boxes regularly. Additional contact information is shown below.
