Nevada City will be host to the start of America's largest bicycle race, Amgen Tour of California.  The announcement was made on October 22 via Twitter as Levi Leipheimer, Dave Zabriskie, George Hincapie and Lance Armstrong tweeted about the 8 great reasons to love the Amgen Tour of California.  Nevada City is thrilled about the opportunity to serve as the starting location for the race and welcome the many professionals and fans who will be here for the event.
